Cerebral Palsy

Cerebral of the brain, the pulse means paralysis. Cerebral Palsy (CP) in muscle tone (the muscle state with half tension) disorder, is characterized by symptoms such as poor posture and lack of movement. The difficulties experienced during childbirth is known to cause cerebral palsy. (such as anoxia during deliver)

Cerebral Palsy is not progressive. However, it is possible to minimize the effects with effective rehabilitation programs conscious approach.

Rehabilitation programs should be initiated as soon as SP is diagnosed because the rehabilitation of cerebral palsy is very important for 0-7 years old period. Starting in the early rehabilitation of SP is to ease the regulation of abnormal muscle tone, to facilitate normal motor development, to prevent problems which can be caused by defects in muscle building and to ensure child's functional independence.
